About Me

I’m running for City Council because I believe thoughtful leadership and practical problem solving can help Grandville thrive.
Fifteen years ago, my wife Erika and I chose Grandville as the place to start our family. Today, we’re proud to be raising our two daughters here, both students in Grandville Public Schools. Every day, we’re reminded why that decision was the right one. Erika and I are both STEM professionals, I currently serve as Manager of Energy & Engineering at Meijer. My background spans engineering, computer science, and business, and I’ve spent my career leading teams and projects that drive innovation and reduce costs while making smart, sustainable investments.
For the past six years, I’ve served Grandville as a Planning Commissioner and as a member of the Environmental Sustainability Committee. In these roles, I’ve worked alongside residents, local businesses, and City staff to address key issues and plan for the future with purpose. I’ve earned a reputation for listening carefully, thinking critically, and finding common-sense solutions.
My goal isn’t to achieve a personal victory, it’s to get things done, and to do it with integrity, transparency, and compassion for the people I serve. I’m proud of the work we’ve accomplished, and I’m ready to bring that same focus and follow-through to City Council.
